The Home and the World (also known as Ghare Baire) by Rabindranath Tagore is a political and emotional novel set during the Swadeshi movement in early 20th-century Bengal. About the Author

Rabindranath Tagore was a renowned Indian poet, novelist, philosopher, and musician, best known as the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913.
